Storm Damage in Falls Township

The sewers could not hold all the water that accumulated during a storm causing multiple homes to backup. The black water that came through the toilets and drains overflowed causing a lot of damage.

This bathroom was no exception as the shower had only a shallow rim which allowed the sewage to stay in the bathroom. The fist picture shows the disgusting nature of a sewer loss. 

The second picture shows how the technicians cut out some of the drywall along the base of the wall. The drywall and baseboards had wicked up some of the contaminated water and needed to be removed.
